As we continue to work through the issues associated with the government shutdown, I want to thank all of you who continue to work on excepted activities for your hard work and dedication; and for those on furlough, I want to thank you for your patience and understanding. I am well aware that, for many of you, the government shutdown and furloughs are causing anxiety and hardship. But one of our NASA values is teamwork, so I encourage all of you to continue to look out for one another, and I ask all of you to go to the NASApeople.nasa.gov website to stay up to date on the latest information concerning the shutdown and how it affects you. There is a wealth of information concerning pay, benefits and more, and it is updated regularly.
We still have a lot going on at KSC even though we are shut down, but there is going to be a huge challenge in front of us when we return as we take on all the work that’s critical to our future success that’s been on hold. I know you’re up to the challenge and look forward to seeing you all back at work in the near future.
Keep charging!
