Effective at noon today (July 30th, 2020), Kennedy Space Center is at HURCON IV, in preparation for potential impacts of Tropical Storm Isaias.
HURCON IV is the initial notification and preparation phase.
All KSC-based personnel and organizations are encouraged to review and implement their organization-specific hurricane plans, to the extent feasible, given the current Stage 3 COVID-19 mitigation measures.
On-site work at KSC is limited to mission-essential and approved mission-critical work.
KSC Leadership does not expect or authorize personnel who are currently teleworking to come onto the Center simply to conduct HURCON IV preparations.
Personnel with questions regarding whether specific on-site activities are authorized should contact their supervisors.
