Effective at 0900 today (July 2, 2021), Kennedy Space Center is at HURCON IV, in preparation for potential impacts of Hurricane Elsa.

HURCON IV is the initial notification and preparation phase.

All KSC-based personnel and organizations are encouraged to review and implement their organization-specific hurricane plans, to the extent feasible, given the ongoing COVID-19 mitigation measures.

On-site work at KSC remains limited to mission-essential and approved mission-critical work.

KSC Leadership does not expect or authorize personnel who are currently teleworking to come onto the Center simply to conduct HURCON IV preparations.

Personnel with questions regarding whether specific on-site activities are authorized should contact their supervisors.
