Associate Administrator Steve Jurczyk’s Coronavirus update message of March 3, 2020, noted “If you feel symptomatic, whether it be with the flu or symptoms of a … respiratory infection (including fever and cough), please do not come to the occupational health clinics to be seen, but see your primary care provider instead. Before arriving at your private physician’s office or the emergency department, let them know ahead of time what your symptoms are so that they can appropriately isolate you from other patients.”
In light of Administrator Jerzy’s message, our KSC Medical Team has initiated a telephone triage system to help you answer questions regarding any upper respiratory symptoms that concern you. For questions regarding your symptoms, please call the Occupational Health Facility (OHF, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) at 867-3346. In case you need immediate attention, we have instituted a “Greet You at the Door” protocol to provide protection for the patients in the waiting room and medical staff. Please call 867-3346 from outside the clinic and our staff will come out to assist you.
